The Montreal Guitar Show experience was a reel pleasure ! Meeting all these guitar amateurs as well as other luthiers is priceless. We will most certainly be back next year!

The Guitar Player magazine talks about us!
We are very proud to be mentioned in no less than the Guitar Player magazine. Out of the 130 luthiers present at the Montreal Guitar Show, the journalist Barry Cleveland underlines the forward-thinking work of ten amongst them, Les Guitares Moisan being the first of those ten !
Note that the spectacular guitar that is shown here after on the cover of the magazine is not a Moisan guitar, but rather the Andamento guitar, made by Ervin Somogyi.

The Guitares Moisan team growes up !
A bran new intern just made its way into the Guitares Moisan team. Her futur with us is most certainly very promising, although we will need to be a little patient before she can fully master the art of lutherie. We wish a very warm welcome to the little Chloé !

A 50th Moisan guitar!
It is with great pride that we announce that our 50th Moisan guitar as been delivered. It is a Classical model for which the owner, Élodie Langenais-Desmarais, studies in classical guitar at the Montreal university.
We are happy to know that our 50e guitar will be played by such talented hands!

Les Guitares Moisan at the Montreal Guitar Show !

Les Guitares Moisan wins a price at the Salon des métiers d’art !
It is with great pride that we annonce that Les Guitares Moisan as won the Jean-Cartier price at the Salon des métiers d’art.
The jury as underlined "the respect for traditions in the technical realisation of his guitars, the innovation, the research and audacity for each of his instruments, his concern for quality and his choice of materials."
We sincerely thank the entire team of the Salon des métiers d’art for such a recognition !

Salon des métiers d’art
Again this year, Les Guitares Moisan is renewing the Salon des métiers d’art experience. Motivated by last year's success, it is with great pleasure that we will be showing our demonstrators from the 3d to the 22d of december, at the stand nb. 809 at the Place Bonaventure of Montreal.

A member of the band Karkwa gets himself a Moisan guitar!
It is with great pride that we can anounce that Julien Sagot, member of the band Karkwa purchased a Moisan guitar. He will soon start recording a new solo album and intend, of course, to use his new guitar on that album.

Our experience at the Salon des métiers d’art last December was a pleasant one for sure! The public response was extremely positive with many guitars ordered, several meeting scheduled and over 1250 business cards distributed! We are quite sure to repeat the experience next year!

Want to learn Flamenco guitar ?
A close collaborator of Les Guitares Moisan, Roger Lapierre, as well as his collegue Michel Beauchamps opened last fall the Académie de guitare Flamenca of Montreal. They teach Flamenco guitar playing through a session of 12 lessons, each lasting 2h and attended in small groups. And this for only 350$.
In an ongoing effort to increase the variaty of our wood inventory, two new wood species are now offered, which are a new Bubinga (back and sides) as well as Snakewood (bridge).

Indeed, five demonstrators will be displayed at the boot 511 of the Salon des métiers d’art which will be held from the 4 to the 22 of December at the Place Bonaventure of Montréal.

A Moisan guitar on an album once again!
The production company Growing Roots Records as newly lauched the album Roots En Route on which we can hear a Moisan guitar being played. Roots En Route is a compilation reuniting folks/acoustics artists from Quebec city.
In an ongoing effort to increase the variaty of our wood inventory, two new wood species are now offered, which are the African Mahogany (back and sides, neck) as well as the Figured Sapele (bindings).
