Warranty on repairs

Repairs and ajustments made in the shop are warrantied for a period of three months following the reclaiming of the instrument by the customer.

NOTE : Are excluded from warranty all repairs involving, in whole or in part, finition (varnish). In the cases where only a part of the repair involves finition, then only this part will not be covered by the warranty.

Warranty on guitars

1. GENERAL TERMS : All MOISAN guitars are warranted to the original owner against any manufacturing or material defects, under a normal use, and this as long as the guitar will be owned by the original owner and as long as LES GUITARES MOISAN will be in business.


2. EXCLUSIONS : Are not considered as manufacturing or materials defects :
1. string ware
2. finition (varnish) ware
3. fret ware
4. nut and saddle ware


3. HIGH HEAT AND HUMIDITY : All MOISAN guitars are made in an environment where the reletive humidity is controlled at a rate of 45% to 50%. It is of the customer's responsibility to ensure to keep the guitar in an environment where the relative humidity is near such rates in order to ensure of the intégrity of the instrument's components. It is also necessary to keep the instrument in an environment where the temperature will not exceed 40o Celsius (110o F.). Consequently, are not warrantied the following problems :
1. cracks
2. shortning of fretboard width (causing exposed fret ends)
3. bridge ungluing
4. any other problem caused by a too high or low relative humidity rate, or exposure to extreem heat.


4. ACCIDENTS : Are not covered any defect caused by any accident or impact the instrument would have suffered.


5. TRANSPORTATION: All fees associated to the transportation of the guitar will be handled by the customer.


6. This warranty is not transferable, which means it is no longer applied from the moment the guitar is sold by its original owner.
