The Dreadnought

By far the most popular acoustic guitar model , the Dreadnought is renowned for the intensity of its volume and the richness of its bass. Even if it is quite a versatile instrument, the Dreadnought is mostly used as a rhythm guitar where strumming is prefered to the finger picking style.

The bracing patern of the Dreadnought model I make is the widely used scalloped "X" bracing. Just as for all the other guitar models I offer, the bracing dimensions are preciely established, in conjunction with the thickness of the top, in order to obtain a perfect balance between flexibility and stiffness.

The depth of the body, which goes up to 12,7cm (5’’), is greatly involved in to the good bass response of this model. Varying the body depth is actually one of the many possible ways to influence the tone a guitar.

By default, the Dreadnought is equiped with Grover Rotomatic Chrome, although many other types of tuners are available on demand.
